Advanced Open Water Dive Course gives you that extra edge to explore beyond. You would be able to go deeper (30-40 meter); Go on Night Dives; Navigate strong currents & Explore Wrecks underwater. In order to take up this course, we will require proof of your existing Open Water Dive certification.

The sea around the island is teeming with hundreds of species. Bamboo Sharks, Blue Spotted Rays, White-Eyed Moray Eels, Giant Pufferfishes, Batfishes, Trevallys, Barracudas, Hawksbill Turtles, Parrotfishes, Butterfly Fishes, Damselfishes and so much more.

If that isn’t enough and lady of luck is on your side – you may spot a Whale Shark!

Due to its location, the best time to visit this island is between early March until the end of October to enjoy guaranteed clear visibility and a calm sea.

Itinerary:

Day 1
Arrive & Begin Your Lesson
Upon your arrival at Shari-La Island Resort, you will be greeted by Anti Gravity Divers personnel. You’ll begin an academic session consisting of video presentation and Peak Performance Buoyancy (PBB) explanation followed by knowledge review. Jump into the sea to test and tweak your PBB. After lunch there will be more sessions on Underwater Navigation (NAV) and followed by a shore dive for NAV.

Day 2
Deep, Wreck & Night Dive
Begin your day with academic session and assess your knowledge with several quizzes on equipment preparation and Deep Diving (DEEP). Then we head out for a DEEP boat dive. After lunch, more academic review of Wreck Diving (WRECK), followed by a WRECK boat dive. The day ends with a night dive by the shore followed by knowledge review.

Day 4
Certified Advanced Diver
Now as an Advanced Diver, prepare yourself for your final day on this tropical island paradise with two refreshing morning dives as a certified diver in time to checkout and head back to the mainland via boat to Kuala Besut Jetty. With a heavy heart, we bid you goodbye, hoping you would continue your dive journey through amazing Asia.Disclaimer: Itineraries may subject to change due to weather or any other conditions of an operational nature. How to get there?
There are many ways to travel to Kuala Besut Jetty from Kuala Lumpur or Singapore. Hop on a 7-8 hour comfortable overnight bus ride from Kuala Lumpur Bus Hub (TBS) to plan your arrival before 10 am. Or simply fly into Sultan Ismail Petra Airport (KBR) and charter a car or a taxi to the jetty.

Meals are not included in this package. However, we recommend you to explore the island for authentic Malay cuisine and various options around the resort.
How about dive equipment?
BCD, fins, masks and wet suit will be provided. If you have your own, bring them along and we will ensure they're cleaned and dried before your departure.
