The sea around the island is teeming with hundreds of species. Bamboo Sharks, Blue Spotted Rays, White-Eyed Moray Eels, Giant Pufferfishes, Batfishes, Trevallys, Barracudas, Hawksbill Turtles, Parrotfishes, Butterfly Fishes, Damselfishes and so much more.
If that isn’t enough and lady of luck is on your side – you may spot a Whale Shark!
Due to its location, the best time to visit this island is between early March until end of October to enjoy a guaranteed clear visibility and a calm sea.

Itinerary:
Get Comfortable
A meet and greet upon your arrival at the Shari-La Island Resort. To familiarise you with the area, there will be an exploratory dive at Batu Layar after which you can relax on the sandy, white beach.
Good Things Come In 3s
After an early start, your first dive will be at Terumbu Tiga, followed by your second at Seabell Rock. Both dive spots are rich in marine life and the glittering waters enrich the experience even more. After a refreshing dip at the Air Berani Waterfall, there will be a third dive.
Sanctuary Of Underwater Beauty
The 3 dive spots you will visit are stunning, sure to give you many wonderful Insta-worthy moments. The first dive will be at Tanjong Basi, followed by the second at Batu Nisan. The final dive will be at Tokong Laut where you will swim among hundreds of fishes.
Adieu

How to get there?
There are many ways to travel to Kuala Besut Jetty from Kuala Lumpur or Singapore. Hop on a 7-8 hour comfortable overnight bus ride from Kuala Lumpur Bus Hub (TBS) to plan your arrival before 10 am. Or simply fly into Sultan Ismail Petra Airport (KBR) and charter a car or a taxi to the jetty. Set sail to the island with a speedboat and you will be met at Shari-La jetty, and your day begins.

Food and beverage
Meals are not included in this package. However, we recommend you to explore the island for authentic Malay cuisine and various options around the resort or venture to Long Beach for more.
How about dive equipment?
BCD, fins, masks and wet suit will be provided. If you have your own, bring them along and we will ensure they're cleaned and dried before your departure.
Not certified?
Not a problem! Certification courses are available for you. Check out our Open Water and Advanced Open Water Dive Lessons in these selected destinations.
